The situation in Pakistan seems to be getting even more grave as it was reported today that the combined Taliban/Islamist forces captured a district close to the capital of Islamabad in addtion to capturing most of the Western half of the country.

It was also estimated that the Pakistani Government could well falll within 6 months if even more urgent action was not taken

With all of this does anyone think the Taliban/Islamists can be stopped somehow even if the Army/Security forces of Pakistan are incapable of stopping them.

Personally I do think the nation's government is going to fall and Pakistan will go into chaos or under radical Islamist rule very soon. In addition the Obama Administration won't be able to do much about it since I hear they really haven't even formulated a policy for the nation.

 

Actually I had it on the cards that the next govt of Pakistan would be Taliban one ever since the thiefocracy was restored. We need another military coup...
