I came across this today, I like the melody and even the lyrics.

The reference is to the Qajars although they are not directly mentioned. If only they were as patriotic as this song makes them out to be!
The lyrics go something like this:
Immortal name [Qajar] of the homeland

like the immortal sun
my original homeland
the salt and passion of my life

All with in one name and with one banner

Thanx Zagros for the link. Despite the fact that the miserable Qajar kings who lost a lot of Iranian territories and were awful rulers, this song is really great. I prefer this song to the new anthem ( sar zad as chopogh  ...) ------------- Anfører |
