Yup. Understood. But the Turks, and my long time friends among them...will not tolerate abuses of their lines. How they deal with opposition groups within.... is not the way they will deal will threats to their sovereignty as a nation state.
They will not allow it...they are and remain mighty warriors of old.
And as a Christian spiritualist; who has many friends there and an old NATO ally... I honor their soldiers history and resolve.
Bet.
They remain my brothers in the fight for democracy. They remain the people of the 'book' and there is much among us even when we argue; that we will not accept. Theological and ideological and or political differences mean nothing to us.
You can bet that too. |
*Turkey is not militarist as much as you think at least now. The main atmospher is conservatism now, not nationlistism. Turkey have just one red line which is occupation of Hatay in that case.
*This attack can be also more deep meaning. Even our allies could do it and showed it as a Syrian attack for making Turkey aggresive against Assad.
*Christian spiritualist? Europe became Europe when she resists the Church
*Nato? There should be military organisation such as Nato without UN forces. I hope Turkey quites it as soon as possible. Turkey is just an outpost for Nato also European nations and goverments don't see us as a really family member .When Turkey under attack, even Europeans don't feel too much under the threat. They can easily let the Turkey alone.
*Democracy? I am not full-democracy supporters. After seeing ellection winner sharia parties in Arabic countries after the Arab Spring, or allowing facist parties in Europe
