Chinese intentions in Africa misunderstood

The Chinese have always believed they are the brothers of other oppressed people: Africans, Latin Americans and Arabs.  When the Chinese government gave millions of aids to African nations, it was promised with no strings attached (no political ideologies) and certainly not like "Blood Diamond" where the natural resources of natives are severely exploited.  Well, we see some of it happening now.  The Chinese highways and railroads leads to mining camps and farms used only for the benefit of Chinese business class.  They are no different from the Europeans and Americans before them.
