No, the nuclear tests are over, and they were only done in depopulated areas. The French are acting as peacekeepers in the Ivory Coast on the very mission to prevent it to become another Rwanda. They entered on request of the Ivorians, though however the government turned against them because they simply didn't annihilate the rebels. The reason they destroyed the "airforce" is because they actually bombed the French barracks, killing 8. They have UN mandate.

And we'll have to wait the result of the inquest before drawing conclusion.

Do you know if France has been sentenced by international court or in United Nations because of sunk of Green Peace ship by two French secret agents?  They have killed one green peace member since they were protesting France's nuclear tests in Pacific.

Thanks a lot to propaganda. Get your fact straight, when the boat was bombed, no one was in. The Portuguese victim died drowned while trying to swim to the boat.

To save his camera....... stupid death if I ever saw one.

Between 1966 and 1996, France exploded 178 nuclear bombs at Moruroa Atoll and nearby Fangataufa. 137 ground and 41 in the atmosphere bombs have been detonated, causing irreparable damage to the atoll and leaking radioactive contaminants into the seawater and atmosphere.

Yeah and? Everyone made nuclear tests.

There are people who were living in those areas. Isn't it a genocide?

The only people living in Mururoa were scientist. Mururoa is an atol, not an island, it's too small and there aren't any ressources on.

France's nuclear tests also effected the world's athmosphere. This is a clear example of France's colonial mind. Will they teach their child this egoism and continous crimes against humanity?

France killed nature and also killed people who were trying to protect the nature and people.

Do you want to know who are Major Alain Mafart and Captain Dominique Prieur, members of the French armed forces? You can make a google search.

I did it for you.   http://www.google.com.tr/search?hl=tr&q=Major+Alain+Mafa rt+and+Captain+Dominique+Prieur&btnG=Ara&meta =

To remember Fernando Pereira, photographer.................

That's cultural evolution, guess what, most of France also lost its old language for French (nope, French wasn't always the language of all France)

They are active in Ivory Coast and they destroyed poor Ivory Coast air forces composed of 2 air plamnes and a few helicopter. They are active in Rwanda and millions have been killed by French supported troops.

Milions were killed by the government more than by the French. The government and the rebels both asked us to split them. And some moron decided it was intelligent to bomb us. Guess what, if I attack you using a gun, you'll answer.

If France really wanted to take Ivory Coast, we wouldn't send only one transport ship and a fregate but the complete fleet.

Who will ask the bill for all those crimes commited by France? It seems clear that the regime in France should be rehabilitated as soon as possible or they will create more problems on world peace.

Talking about colonies. Do you know Mayotte voted two times against independance? 60% then 99%. And those are indigenous people.

The Comoros claim them and the UN voted 14 to 15 to make them independant. It was vetoed by France, those people there want to be French and it's not up to the UN to force them to independance if they don't to.

My younger cousins who live in France tell me they hear little about Algeria in school rooms anyways. They know almost nothing about the massacre of the Algeiran nation that France did in trying to wipe us out. I cannot say the system is this way though becaus eI am not in it(thankfully). I do not belive there are many "positive" things they can say about their rape of Algeria. Many minor things, but mostly they just ruined the place. Their language is in ours in many ways now, all the upper class people speak French, it is disgusting. I hate when my colegues try to use French to be "cool" or to impress French foreigners. They should go to France and speak that nonsense. They still try to teach in French at schoo and this is why my kids will not go to school in DZ. French is becoming useless anyway unless you want be a military general and rape young girls here. Not to mention they made many ugly buildings. They infected Algeria and you cannot really get rid of them. Their culture is like cockroaches here. They have a nice country in some ways but they should keep it there becaus eit just ruins other places from what I can tell.

They won't leave you alone, because those 4 million Algerian corpses weren't efficient enough to make their country nice.

Democracy? Well, during the Ottoman rule of more than the French, Algerians didn't lose their language, nor were ashamed of their IDs. But after French colonization, Algerians lost their national conciousness and began to think the same way a French does.

Democracy of France is not the point, that Algerians rushed to, because of the lack of it.

The point is what France did to them which Ottomans didn't to make Algerians both hate and love France.

The Turks were culturally much closer of the Algerian than the French (just look at the religion). This helped a lot, and the Arabic isn't a dead language in Algeria. They still speak it and French is far behind. French is just a popular language in some social classes there.

One positive aspect of colonialism, the metric system which harmonised the world science is a result of it.

What does mean "thinking like French?", if you mean that they left some of their religion zeal for a more secular system or that they started to adopt other republican ideas those are not an exclusivly French characteristic.

Your understanding of popularism, prevents someone to climb up in business.

And all those "positive aspects" were politics of colonization, to make every colony, "little Frances".

Thinking like a French: Living in France in the heart. Yeah, they're independent, but addicted to France in economy. And the homeland of an individual is not the place he's born, but the place he's fed. France limits the country and plays the good old man giving the opportunity of immigration.

Sorry but some Algerians (and I doubt it's that much) think they live in France (I'm talking of Algerians in Algeria of course), they might have to realise they don't. I don't understand were does come this fascination for a country that fought them in the past and has no common ground with them. Anyway, if there is a French wanabee culture in Algeria, it certainly doesn't come from us now.

Being addicted to France in economy isn't that relevant. We are a capitalist country open to international market, we're all adicted to the international market.
