^ in my opnion there could have been  countries called north india, west india, Central india,  East india and south india,

north india could be from Islamabad in pakistan to Lucknow in the east,
west india should cover cities like Karachi, Jaipur, Ahamadabad, Mumbai, Pune area.

Central india should cover cities from Kanpur to Hyderabad.

East india should be  Calcutta, bihar, Bangladesh and areas like Orissa lying to close to Bay of Bengal

Then finally south india should be anywhere south of hyderabad all the way to Sri lanka

western pakistan like balochistan and pashtun areas should have been part of pashtunistan or something similar, because pashtuns and baloch have similar cultures, and western afghanistan should have been part of iran
