Look at this thread: Wonderful Art

Tiles are monochrome!

So to create this colorful decoration, thousands of tiny tiles in different shapes and colors are put side by side.

What about this one?

This 500 years old Minaret is as tall as a 20-storey tower!

Shah Mosque, Isfahan

For at least 2,000 years, the region once known as Persia, has remained the most important source of turquoise, for it is here that fine material is most consistently recovered. This "perfect colour" deposit, which is blue naturally, and turns green when heated due to dehyration, is restricted to a mine-riddled region in Neyshabur,[5][6][7] the 2,012-metre (6,600 ft) mountain peak of Ali-mersai, which is tens of kilometers from Mashhad, the capital of Khorasan province, Iran.

These mosques are the real masterpieces! I always found them fascinating in terms of design. I honestly grow a great respect toward the talented architecs of these sacred structures.

The construction phase definitely requires a diligent work to put all these tiny tiles together with a cohesive product. I have heard that the transparent fluid in egg was broadly used as a strong glue in building these charming mosques. It really takes plenty of time to build up these mosques.

It was a great deal to pick from three equal options. I think my vote goes to the Goharshad Turquoise Mosque. It looks aesthetically more fascinating than the others.
