I won't get more political here.

But I'll just talk about this. I don't think that alone we'll be so bullied. Think about it.

In 2050 there will be two big powers, USA and China. Then, will they just kiss each others? I bet no, they will be concurent. And it's such situation, it's often possible for a small one to do well. France has done quiet well during the cold war. And even today we've got enough destruction power to calm a lot of people. In a competition China/USA it'll be possible to play an interesting role, with or without the EU.

Vae victis!

Given the geographical gap, this comment is meaningless. Just like you may say:Roman Empire had never been a threat to China. However, when Han China conquerred Kashgar, there was not even a stuff call Sassanid Persian.

There is no proof and evidence.

Also how was India a great power in the past?????And what is the classificaion of pass? how long ago? 100,200, 1000, or 2000 years ago?

Please read my posts carefully. I supposed "300 years ago" is quite a good criteria of the definition of the word " past".

As to India, the Mogul Empire and the "Peafowl Dynasty" should be among those so-called great powers, in view of their territory and influence.

That's because the Han Dynasty collapsed in 220, succeeded by the Three Kingdoms, whose influence receded to the eastern Tarim.
