Can anyone tell me how to become a moderator?, what do I have to do?, and do I still get to post topics and messages? and vote in polls?.

You can't get a mod, you've to be born as a mod.
Another way is to become mod by acclamation.
But the best opportunity is to shove some bills to the admin via w-lan.

For a certain amount of money the admins might promote you to the moderator position.Wink

If they pass the Physical Training requirements and are deemed proficient in the Martial arts by our hand to hand combat instructor, Sparten.

Just spend a lot of time on here, express interest in the community as a whole and then ask a mod or admin and they'll agree or disagree after discussing it with others - that's what I did.

If you have not got the point yet, there is no "application form". When there is a vacancy, the mod staff amongst themselves agree to offer a position to one of the members, who has been here a while, who is knowledgeable, show good moderation capabiltys (ie cool head, capability for impartial judgement etc) and he or she is appointed.
 
Campaigning for the job beforehand OTH, is not something that is looked for.
