...Hi all.

..is there anyone around who enjoys the 'Red Bull' aeroplane racing??.....i have not given the sport that much attention thinking it would be pretty dull, but i found myself recently with a black spot of tv scheduling and i ended up watching the race that took place in Amsterdam....and surprised myself by getting into and really enjoying the spectacle!!!!....

.....can't say i now know all the in's and out's of the sport, nor do i really understand all the jargon or even anything about the competing pilots!!! Embarrassed..but...

..i particularly like the 'cuban' role at the end of each run at the course and the inside camera shots of the cockpit as the pilots take the huge g-force in a tight turn...and also the comparisons made when the tv can show the flight path of two contenders together in order to see how close the two competitors were....good stuff....

..so, i do believe the next leg is in London this weekend so i will be pitching up my chair and a cup of tea and watching this speed feast in the skies....Cheers...

..ta ta for now....AoO...

i think the Germans had such a competion in 1940 in London, where they left behind some damages and lost some athletes.
