The Olympic Summer Games were held in London in 1908.

On the schedule there were interessting competitiones like Tug of War, Racets ( a kind of squash) and Figure Skating. This took place at the Prince's Skating Club, in the district of Knightsbridge. It was the first time that a type of winter sport was ever introduced in the Olympic Games, 16 years before the first Winter Olympics in Chamonix.
