The Zingh Empire: racist myth or reality?

I have seen quite a few references on Afrocentric sites to a supposed prehistoric empire stretching from Senegal to India and based on the ancient Saharan region, around 15000 years ago, which they call the Zingh Empire. I was wondering if there's any basis whatsoever in fact pointing to a Saharan state that early in prehistory. My guess is that it's all made up to support theories of African world-dominance, but I was simply curious to know what, if anything, suggests that an advanced state may have existed at this early date. Or does this belong to the same realm as Atlantis, Mu and Lemuria? Meaning pseudo-scientific, hyper-diffusionist theories, but this time with a racist twist?

LOL.  Eurocentists kill me. Of course it's myth, just like Atlantis but why is it racist? "Racist" against whom? The arrogance implied here is amazing (so Atlantis isn't racist, right?).  Just another fallacious double standard as is expected in western discourse.  A lot of you people are programmed to hate Africa and don't even know it which is why they throw around buzz words like "Afrocentric", but not to describe an approach to history, but to describe any claim of achievement made by fellow human beings who simply happen to be African. It's a blessing that most Africans don't care and have REAL civilizations to fall back on anyways (but of course I'm Afrocentric for even suggesting that).
