Topic: New Blog on First and Second World War Posted: 16-Feb-2007 at 23:24 |
I just want to let the forum know that I have started a new blog: http://ww1andww2.blogspot.com/
This blog will provide newspaper and magazine articles related to both the history of both world wars. I just added 28 articles, from various English sources, that cover a wide variety of topics, and I hope to contribute to it daily. Also, please click on the google ads on the page, as that will help pay for it.

I am not sure what you mean? I would not want to post just the summaries of the articles, but the entire text. Also, grouping several articles together just leads to one massively long post.

Include a link in your signature, and participate in the military history forum. That is the best way to get promotion for it.
Thanks for sharing this link with us.

A rare bottle of Nazi wine complete with a portrait of Adolf Hitler on the label sold at auction today for 3,995. The bottle was from a collection understood to have been given to Hitler's officers during the Second World War. The Fuhrerwein dates back to 1943 and has a picture of the dictator on the label dressed in a suit. Because it is so old it is undrinkable.
yes very interesting an very good link thank you hugoestr

Thanks. I was able to add seven more articles, ranging from Hitler's image appearing on sugar packets in Croatia, to more serious articles such as the continuing developments related to a US House of Representatives resolution condemning Japan for acts of sexual exploitation during World War II.
