My friend, you call me a fascist because i say the thruth? It bothers you doesn't it?Well, that's the way it is.After all it is your state's regime and your "brave" general Ozkiok  who are the real fascists..And your imperial thinking.....have you seen any other country  to threat Europe so she can become a member of the Union? The Othoman empire has collapsed,do not forget that.Man,you are hiding behind your army's finger, simply because you do not have anything else to hind behind.Another thing is that Europe is based on Hellenism and if i chudge from your sayings simply Turkey has nothing to do with Europe,so you confirmed me.

Well, since I usually do not try to describe a current situation with what it might be in the future, I considered that obvious.

And who's making a fool out of himself now - do you think China is completely homogenous?

Fact remains, the Canadian version of welfare-democracy is very much alike the European counterparts, they share the same values, religions, etc. That was the point I made, if someone did not understand.

Since I'm a quite kind, I won't take that bet knowing you would loose. Further, the notion that I or anyone else would not be allowed to speak about China or any other place since we haven't been there falls in the cathegory of the most not-so-smart and hypocritic things I've read on this forum, which doesn't say a little. So please jump down from that all too high horse of yours, Mr China-traveller.

The point still remains though, that Canada is closer to Western Europe in all but the geographic sense. I will also, since some people here (not referring to anyone in particular) sometimes seem incapable of taking things lightly or tongue-in-cheek, add a little disclaimer: this do not in any way mean that I do not consider Eastern Europe - including for example the mentioned Ukraine - and Turkey worthy future members of the EU, because in fact I do consider them worthy members once they fulfill the humanitarian and economical qualifications.

edit: just out of spite, I'll add a second vote for Canada

I'm sure your talking about your EU brethren on that one, since you'd be greatly wrong with us American theocratic oppressors of heathens, atheists and idolators. (wishing we still had the rolly eyes one).

On a side note, I'd believe that at least 90% of China shares the same culture.

Economic Communist, Political Progressive, Social Conservative.

Having helped prepare meals for school events for kids from China, and observing them having to speak to each other in ENglish because thats the only language all of them had in common, i'm inclided to assume its not just a tourist attraction.

Really, I've been told there's quite some differences between the North and South, Xinkiang, Tibet and Mongolia, and lots of minorities here and there. By Chinese people themselves, but maybe they were just trying to fool a stupid barbarian.

it's even 99% percent, just because there are like over 50 acknowledged minorities that doesn't change anything if they're only so few, besides Tibet, Uighurstan and Inner Mongolia are not really part of China. if so, then i'd like to say that the 3rd Reich was the most culturally diversed country ever in '44.

It's about 91-92%. Still, the minorities' 9% of China's population is like 12.5 Swedens.

Edit: it was supposed to be a comma there.
