Well, right now I am listening to Pearl Jam!
And the other cd following it is Nickelback!
Followed by the Red Hot Chili Peppers
finishing off with the soundtrack from the musical "Wicked" which I just saw on Broadway during the holiday season (it is awesome)!

Al'Dino's newest CD was also recently released. It's a hardcore,
traditional, Bosniak nationalist lovefest with songs like Bebo,
Bosanska, Carsija, and so on.
The song Carsija is gorgeous. Amra Halebic helped him with the vocals
and he used only traditional instruments, so it has a rich, authentic
carsija feel. Carsija, of course, is an Ottoman-era marketplace style
common in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Anyone here with more refined tastes in music will love this song.
CARSIJA!
Lijepo je doc' u svoju carsiju
lijepo je imat svoju avliju
malu ali ipak dragu
i majku na kucnom pragu
da te doceka
lijepo je doc' u svoju carsiju
ko pobjednik se vratiti
s ljudima znati kafu popiti
i bol i radost podijeliti
ne mozes sam umrijeti
Ovdje su djedovi mi stari
sjeme posadili
amanet najljepsi mi dali
da ovdje ostarim u Bosni!

YuGo,
You'll love Bosanska - it's such an old Sarajevo School of Rock song.
From Wikipedia, for those who don't know:
"The Sarajevo school of pop rock collectively refers to the popular music created between 1960 and 1991 by artists and bands native to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (then part of Yugoslavia). The
music created in this period helped create a distinct identity for
modern Sarajevo and make the city the center of Yugoslav rock and roll.
The regional influence of the Sarajevo pop rock school has been
tremendous, significantly shaping the popular music of the former
Yugoslav republics to this day."
Here you go, Yugo!
"Volim je a boli me ova pjesma Bosanska!!!"

Every moment, like last, neither earth, nor sky don't calculate time. Left only one heart in scorched bosom. Throbing only drums again, calling us into battle.

Hey Mila!
I didn't know Al Dino was a hardcore Bosniak!? Oh well..I like his music! Bosanska is a classic, i love it. carsija is great too!
And no, I am choosing not to listen to that Emina Jahovic.. well at least not untill you listen to some of my hard-core serbian songs.. especially since I see how her voice influences you! Hehe.
and comeone.. how hard-core could they be! It's me!
Okay Mila, do you like Mile Kitic?
I love his music, here are two popular songs from his new cd...
Tatina Maza!

Vidi Se!
http://media.putfile.com/Mile-Kitic---2005---05---Vidi-se
I think this is more of your style.. Mile is originally from Bijeljina, northern Bosnia. He Lived in Sarajevo before the war, and was even friends with Hanka Paldum! Today he lives in Belgrade, and has developed a horribly fake Serbian Ekavic accent.. ehehe
Here is his 1989 hit, EMINA!

Emina! Emina! Eminaaaaaa!
Sounds like a perfect Serbian Hodza! Hahaha.

Hahaha - Mile is a traitor, I don't like him. I don't like anyone from
Bijeljina actually. Kidding, Ana-Mirjana Racanovic I love.
And Serbian Hodza? I love that.
