Islam orders to have more beauty inside (Do not be a beautiful man, but a good man), that is why more than 50% of the efforts were done for internal designs of mosques.

Greatest internal effort is in Sultan Ahmed Mosque, I think.

That is one god damn relic, LOL.

You muslims, thank your knock of Turkic bros. Aside from tents, we had some nice buildings.

BTW, the better inside tradition still continues, for instance the house of my family. We take care of inside more than outside.

It seems huge Ottoman mosques are not considered as Islamic wonders, maybe because there were just copies of the Hagia Sophia and other western buildings!! what do you think?

from where you got this  list of Islamic wonders! these are buildings no more no less i mean they are not like the pyramids where scientists still guessing on how they were built.

also Taj Mahal is one of the world's 7 wonders.

at least Taj Mahal would be the 1st of the "Islamic Wonders" if there are such wonders.

if so then the Dom of the Rock should be considered a wonder, and the Umayyad mosque too.

and i agree most of the Turkish mosques in Turkey are clear copy of the Hagia sophia. which must be the 1st "Christan wonder"

It's not a horse - he's riding a French poodle
And yes, he is a Turk alright - beats the US claim of landing first on the moon!

This is a really beautiful building - a monument to man and God.
I wish there were more monuments so beautifully built, with so intricate design and decoration and preserved in so good condition by obviously very loving caretakers!!!

Hahaha, it looks like the Parthenon with bumps on its head!
(only joking here)

And it seems that in Finland, apart from their shoes, the muslims leave their motorcycles outside too...

Guys and girls, by these jokes I mean no offence to Islam or to Finns. Just trying to be witty.

azimuth, What is your definition of a wonder? Why do you think Taj Mahal is wonder but other ones are not?

I think it can be said that Taj Mahal is also a clear copy of some Persian mosques but in a larger scale.

Makki Mosque in Zahedan, Iran (16th century) and Taj Mahal in Agra, India (17th century):

My friends, architect is mostly copy of others.

You should realy stop this stupidness.

And larger scale  means  much(At that times), specialy when building domes.
