Hello,
I'm new in this forum and I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this, but I'll give it a shot.

I wonder where does this symbol for Tree of Life comes from.

Thank you in advance.

Could be coming from any number of theological systems ancient or contemporary. Might even be a representation of some specific herb or plant associated with long living properties used in ancient or current folk medicine or mysticism. So I would begin there.

That particular representation reminds me of the Acacia pycnantha.

Good luck on your research effort.

It's handling suggests a woodcut.  Stylistically, it doesn't give me any clues, though it would appear to be fairly modern. [Within last 300 years].

It's the Bodhi-tree, and is a banyan tree.
What a handsome figure of a dragon. No wonder I fall madly in love with the Alani Dragon now, the avatar, it's a gorgeous dragon picture.
