why i belive it was a janus statue with two faces:cause this one is sureal thick!Let me expose my ideas:Farmers pray in front of it,this on picture.cattle breaders&shapards on back side!It's same temple same good...blab'labla...Back side is not exposed...i tryed to record on my movie back side but...i did not analize back surface which could not be approached ...

From what I found online, not all statues of Janus show a rams headed entity on one side.

Most, if not all are more visually compact than what you show.

The statue as it is exposed in museum in Selchuk near Kushadasi can not stand alone on postament so other half made it stabile.Was it a Ram we see in front of temples in Luxor or Karnak,duno!Regards!

i was there Aeoli and made a movie posted in this topic three years ago.I have been in Kushadasi three years in continuity(summer vacation,7(+2) days with 2 days travel cause the museum was not renovated still. Ancient city of Efes is magnificent discovery still underground!Visit it!There are lot of it to see!And Pamuk Kale,graveyard&...

I guess, it is first sightseeing ancient city with Troy in Turkey, so it is classic. Good for you. 

Do you know any localized Greek/Roman god-goddess as much as Artemis of Ephesus?

 
 For example, this is Zeus of Smyrna/Jupiter of Smyrna, but quite similar with ordinary Zeus.
