Is it known who first created the sciences. We talk about people doing this and that, but there must have been people who first had a go.

The Greeks. They seem to have made a distinction between superstitious rituals and experiments that could be repeated for verification

The first human technology emerged 1.5 million years ago and was the result of experimentation. Though many animal species have the capacity to experiment and learn.

Early science? The first human or sub-human to taste something new! If he or she survived or thrived then it was a success, if not, someone else would try something else. It was simple, and it was trial and error, but it was a form of science nontheless!

Toltec- Are you including Lithics in that aging? If so you'd better tack on a mill or so.
For the animal angle google- Bandit in your backyard. It's probably on YT by now.
For the human angle, study the developement and progression of Ceramic tech. Neolithic farmer/potters learned, or got their starting point for learning principles of combustion. They learned about differences in firing atmospheres, kilns etc. All from observations which stimulated experimentation. Experimentation led to.............etc.
It's been going on like that since the start of whatever. Science was first "Magic". A good deffinition of this is "As soon as you understand how and why, it's no longer magic, it becomes science".

Isn't it the Egyptians? Didn't they have the Bahgdad battery? I saw somewhere with a decent theory that light source within the pyramids must be powered differently, as the carbon dioxide from the torches would've gassed up the inside of the pyramids.

Many have challenged that the Baghdad battery was even a battery. I can make a battery out of an orange, doesn't mean nature designed the orange to be be a battery. So even if some could make the jar function as a very weak battery, that doesn't mean the Persians used it as such.
The Greeks were the first to rationally examine the world on a systematic basis, and come up with explanations bases on logical and rational explanations that didn't appeal to the supernatural. Basis of Science. Other cultures like the Chinese started doing something similar around the same time, but I don't think they were as broad in topic, but more important, they were not the source that the men who created modern science, men like Galileo and Newton, were inspired by and built upon. Indian and Chinese early philosophers were unknown to the western scientist, and while the works of Galileo and Newton may have built upon the works of earlier Muslims, those Muslims in turn had built upon the works of the earlier Greeks.

Pre-Flood:
God is "omniscient".

Cain built the first city.
The sons of God or "watchers" in Genesis 6 & Book of Enoch are claimed to have brought various inventions.
Tubal-cain inventor of metalurgy. Noah's Ark.
Some animals use tools.
Finds of various things like balls, coins, sewn shoe soles, etc in all periods of geological time scale in 'Forbidden Archaeology' by Cremo & Thompson.
Post-flood:
Japheth's name's meaning implies science and technology inventions , andhe seems to match Djehewty/Thoth. Javan = neolithic. Tubal = metal/copper/bronze (Genesis 10). Atlantis had metals technology.
Stone Age Europeans had needles and custom sewn clothes; cave art; fire.
Peking Man had fire? Vertesszolloes man had fire, Progressive Neanderthals had fire, Neanderthals had fire, Cro-Magnons had fire. (Might link with Ashkenaz which means "fire that spreads".)
Earliest civilisations are Sumerian, Egyptian, Peruvian/Atlantis, Indus, Chinese.
Tower of Babel was a microcosmic temple. 7 sages (Sumer, India, Greece). Ancient battery found in Iraq.
Some scholars give a list of requirements for civilisation which includes things like : wheel; numbers; calendar; money; building; education; arts; etc.
Almodad means "measurer" (Genesis 10).
Helwan in stoneage Egypt had sewing? and crystal skull? (iffy memory from lost notes). Great Pyramid geodesic knowledge of northern hemisphere / world. Moses had pi.
Greek philosophers. Pythagoras, Thales, Hippocrates, Plato & Aristotle, etc.
Bacon. Newton. Galileo. Kepler. Darwin. Wegener. Marconi, Eddison, Einstein, Tesla, Babbage, Haushofer/MacKinder, Cobb.
Hitler claimed that "All the human culture, all the results of art, science and technology that we see before us today are almost exclusively the creative product of the Aryan."
Bacon sent pope copy of his paper. Some popes dabbled in sciences/magic. Vatican has an academy of science.
Do we ever think much thanks to the people who invented things like the lightbulb?

Japheth/Diphath means "wonder" / "enlarge/entice/persuade [thought/intellect] / make room/enlarge/beautify" / "the extender/extend/enlarge/opened/expand / opened up/made spacious/liberty/freedom" / "entice/deceive", "intellectual activity, prosper, beauty"
= Thoth/Djehewty god of letters etc.

NZ's mandatory fluoridation is not fair because it only forces it on the disadvantaged/some and not on the advantaged/everyone.

AFAIR, a Neanderthal-made axe head was found which - had been firmly affixed to its shaft by 'artificial' glue - which required human application of complex chemical processing steps - including understanding heat & pH values..

Yes, the idea that the Neanderthals were just dumb brutes is being challenged by recent finds. Neanderthals appear to have been capable of making sophisticated tools, and abstract concepts.
Although, how can we be absolutely certain who made the axe? It is not like they wrote on it "Made by Neanderthals".

Generally artifacts are found in context with a habitation site, that has been identified.
Also, tools found in burials etc. are compared with others. Neanders had styles and techniques that can be identified as being different from others, Homo Erectus etc.
