Yes. In fact, they are eastern Black sea coasts people. They are brothers with Georgians. Their language is also very similar with Georgian.

Yeah, they are cool people...

I really like Laz people. They are mostly smart people who can reach practical decisions and who love "horon" dance...Also, I love the "hamsi-pilav" of Eastern Black sea region of Turkey, where Laz people mostly live...

The Laz, especially those in Rize are very religious and an important number of Rizean Lazes are members of the Laz Mafia of Turkey, so the Laz are mostly a dangerous people, though their women and their girls are beautiful

%95 of them are too talkative and combative,and there are lots of Lazes in here,Zonguldak.
