Leaving the ethnic baloch, pushtons, muhajjirs, punjabis etc out, the Brahui lingual sect and the populace in few pockets of sind of Pakistan are comparably browner/darker than other people. Even in general the populace of south region (sind) are comparably darker with round skull/body structure while comparing the northern Punjabis whom in general are light in color having oblong skull and edge nasal shape. Why this variation which is again in an order, North-South.

Pakistan is the North part of Northern India. West of the Indus and North of the Jehlum is not even S Asia. North South divide is thus inapplicable here in that sence. The North- South divide in pakistan refers to the two main population centers, the Northern Arc which comprise the cities of, Peshawar, Mardan, Islamabad, Sialkot, Gujarawala, Sargoda, Lahore and Faisalabad. This area is industrialized, and developed, and mostly, Punjabi-pakhtun. As opposed to this the southern population centers, of DG Khan, Layai, Hyderabad, Sukkhur etc are all on ths Indus, and mostly poor, and Siaraki, Balochi, Sindhi. This is not a racial or linguistic divide, they are all caucasoids and speaking Indo-European Languages. As for

As for the languages, the only Dravidian type language spoken in Pakistan is Brahui. However the people are not Australoid.

While some Sindhis may in fact be of 'darker complexion'  they still tend to be robust physically with good height overall.  You'll also find some Pashtuns, Panjabis and Balochis who may share this trait as well, as many different peoples have been integrated into their respective populations.

I think this statement of north-south segregation is an oversimplification as within SIndh, you have many different groups making up the 'Sindhi population', there are the Manchar indigenous groups, there are Baloch derived SIndhis, ARab/Persian derived Sindhis, and there are transitional groups with Panjabis known as the Seraiki.  The issue is a little more complicated.

As for the Dravidian language issue.  Its a theory that has not been proven but seems to be stated as a fact on a few occasions here in this forum.  I think the dravidian origins of the Brahui is a big blunder which has been inherited by British colonial rulers of South Asia preventing us from properly ascertaining the true origins of these remarkable people living on the Kirthar mountains seperating Sindh and Balochistan.
