In Gran Burenhults book "The stone-age world" (translated from Hungarian-perhaps not correct) there is a map op the language groups. One is called uralian-yukaghir, and one is the ket. According the map, they are two different groups.

the yukhagir are related to the mongols I think. But they both speak a Palaeosiberian language which has almost gone extinct.
