I'm not angry at all. Sorry, if you misunderstood me. Have to get used to my (German) sense of humour.
We have discussed Rommel now a few times, and I'm a bit weary of it.
Just look at the old thread mentioned above.
Easy! Don't be so angry.I ask this question because recently i watch a tv drama called War and Remembrance from the university library. it is based on a novel. the author of this novel stated that Rommel knew the massacre of the Jews, the tv drama even stated that he tried to beg Hitler not to kill any jews.I do not know whether this is true or nor, so i ask the question. I do not have time to check the materials. But Rommel was not the member of the Nazi party. I think if a group of people know the feelof the Jewish people towards the massacre, it is we Chinese. Since the Chinese people were also massacred and enslaved by the Japanese during World war 2,we have same experience with the Jewish people
In those generals of Hitler,Field Marshal Erwin Rommel had a better image. He finally opposed Hitler, and that let him died. Churchill also said something positive on him. he did not abuse the Pows. but did Rommel knew anything about the dead camps and the killing of the Jews?
