Their is nothing a fighting tradition has to do with the present day situation. Bravery is a function of circumstances & most of the times lack of better alternatives, not a biological quality. So in deciding which country's soldiers are better, present day ideological back up, political situations, training & the quality of equipment comes into play. As for morale, humans always have a high morale whenever it somes to fighting, it goes down only when they have to love or respect.

Pakistan is strong because they have nukes. but they take too much credit for that. Sauudi Arabia is just rich they are dogs of USA. Iran is develping nukes too but they lack rich eceonomy. |
And nobody anywhere blinked an eye at this announcement of turkey going nuclear? I mean I know its not in the axis of evil but even pakistan was an ally against the soviet block and they still got hassled for pursuing nukes.

I dont agree with us and israel part. Trkiye doenst need or want any kind of help of us and israel. They are our enemies. As i said before, even if you have a big nuke, you cant use it, unless you want to destroy the whole world. But creating chemical nuke weapons in this modern technology, is not a hard thing to do.
Recently Trkish govenrment said that they will arm the troops with the latest weapons and they will make nuclear weapons by 2011. This is true, i heard this statement also.

Turkey is interested in creating nuclear energy and has announced such programmes already some times. Nuclear weapon however, I don't see how they will get the permission.

when It comes to an important decision,(Like cyprus or nuke) EU cannot force Turkey for to do or not to do something.
Infact It is turning otherway, There is something wrong with EU. They are retreating somehow.(for exp, Armenian genocide thing)

NO i cannot. Since Turkey, Greece, Portugal etc are not world powers they are doing whatever their "masters" saying. The masters are the USA, ISRAEL and EU. Now if Turkey do whatever wanted you would have envade Iraq without asking permissionds from USA. Did you dsee my point?
