Some ancient Persian art.
I don't know what it represents or if it represents anything at all - somebody else might know.

Well i am not an expert of Iranian drawings, but it is very obviuos that the theme here is about grape's vin. In persian Literature is Vin not only a drink, but also it is the "water of wisdom". Poets like Omar Khayam and Hafiz have mentioned this many times. Omar Khayam says in a poet you don't have to look to the religion way, if you really want to know the truth and meaning of creation, so you should drink vin.

Yes that's surely the theme, and/or perhaps it's connected to some story. The central figure might be somebody or nobody special.
You know a lot about eastern literature. I hope to learn as much about it some day.
