New Round. Rider - cut off date? I would recommend the usual 1 week. I won't present a battle this time, but I look forward to seeing other presentations and the eventual masterpiece(s). So forumers, get presenting/voting!

I'm going to tell the story of the battle of Vaslui - 45000 Moldavians and allies against 120.000 Ottomans

I would tell you about... hmhh... let me think... Second Siege of Coruscant not fine with you? Then I suppose that I would tell you about Teutoburg? No, not good... let's say something from the Japanese history I liked, but have forgotten, around 1200 (earlier or later) where a small number of samurai was defeated in a rather plain fight over nothing... don't remember the details (actually I don't remember anything besides that one of the samurai groups started retreating through the city while fighting the enemy). But this is my final thought.

Ok, so we have Sekigahara, Vaslui, and the second siege of Coruscant so far.
Anybody else ?

Nope, I actually suggested something from the Japanese history I liked, but have
forgotten, around 1200 (earlier or later) where a small number of
samurai was defeated in a rather plain fight over nothing... don't
remember the details (actually I don't remember anything besides that
one of the samurai groups started retreating through the city while
fighting the enemy). I didn't know anything better. The second siege of coruscant isn't history (of Earth) actually..

I'll try the battle of Savo Island for the next round.
For the present one I'd like to see Vaslui.

I'm feeling much better.
I'll nominate Sekigahara again myself this time. Hopefully between now and the time the votes are in, I won't get drastically sick again.

I think he might that he is presenting the Battle of Sekigahara, and later pointed out his vote for Vaslui as stated above.

Correct. I was nominating Sekigahara, but as I assume it would be improper to vote for the battle you are nominating, I am voting for Vaslui. :)
