Which script was first? I would say most definitely the Greek.
And the Arabic was restuctured around the Greek by Islamic scholars.
The Arabic script seems just a restyling of Sassanid Persian script - both scripts are derived from ancient Phoenecian. Original Arabic was in runic.
example of Sassanid script:
Very similar to "Arabic", hmm?

Any of those, the first with that configuration is the Phoenician.

They used a form with Phoenecian roots, not Arabic. Arabic IMO was derived from sassanid script, making them both Phoenecian derived.

As far as I am aware, they are completely different. My knowledge on Egypt is very limited but I definitely cannot seee any link with hieroglyphics (letters represented by pictures) in Phoenecian.
Phoenecian and its derivatives are alphabets and each symbol represents a sound, they have no relation to any object, animate or inanimate. It is also widely believed that the Greek alphabet derived from Phoenecian too IIRC.

Since I haven't any sourse ready I can't continue but I have seen in a documentary the evolution from egyptian hieroglyphics to simplified ones to phoenicean alphabet(I'll try to find a sourse).

The theory of the phoenecian origin of the Greek alphabet is supported also because the alpha, beta, gamma etc have meaning in phoenecean language/semetic eg.aleph=ox,beth=house, gimel=camel etc.So I believe that they ae very simplified hieroglyphics.

I see! Very interesting.
Hieroglyphics were also used by American civilisations. They seem like a basic and obvious way to invent writing, I haven't read the source yet, though it seemd that it is possible that the Egyptian and Phoenecian hieroglyphics developed independently from each other.
