It was perhaps the simplest of all faiths.
 
No worship, no temples, no devi, devatas, (godesses, gods) no moral codes, no philosophy, no rites, no rituals.

Yes. I remember on one occasion Mongolian general Subudai said to a Kypchak tribal chief: "We worship the same god and share the same customs."

Aman Tanrim! (O, my God!) On the contrary. Steppe peoples were heavy into Tengri-ism. Water, land and air had there mystical reverance. Was this faith as much prevalent among Turkic tribes as it was among Mongolic tribes?
