For mysterious and unexplainable reasons, it is not possible to quote or edit posts in the "Today in History" Forum, and only here.
AE's Administration and technical dept. are working tirelessly day and night to solve the problem. In the meantime, please quote manually, using the Forum Codes. Editing, alas, is not possible, so I'm afraid you have to get it right first time.
With many apologies for your inconvenience, Kom.

Well, it's not possible to other people: I have never had any problem with that. Do you, Kom?

Example I have just edited this post like any mortal would.

I tried quoting Maju.

Lemme see if the editing feature works.

At the moment, only people who are enabled to start new threads in thsi forum, maju and me, are also able to quoate and edit. This is a bug which can't be repaired.

That makes no sense, why would this forum be any different from any other forum in that regard? Have you asked II or Cyrus?

Could you create a new sub-forum, and see if the problem exists there?
If it doesn't you could allways move all the therads here over to the new forum.

I think this is just because we have not given permission to all registered users to post new topics in this forum.
