Please follow the below guidelines for posting in this forum. They are basically a simplified version of the existing rules and are aimed at regulating the content, tone and language of discussions of this section in particular.

Writing New Threads and Posting Replies

New threads must be relevant to this forum.
Replies must be on topic and relevant.
Do not simply copy + paste information from a source without a referencing the source, this is ill practice and is widely considered to be plagiarism.
If you wish to make controversial assertions that go against conventional wisdom, or are just contentious and thus potentially inflammatory, you MUST cite a supporting reference.
No political threads and no politicisation thereof, such issues are raised and discussed in alternative fora.

Failure to comply with the above guidelines will result in your post/thread being edited, locked or deleted.

Behaviour and Etiquette

Question the opinions and ideas of forum members [but do not personally attack them]*; wherever possible cite a source when attempting to disprove an assertion or a notion.
Profane, vulgar and obscene language is not tolerated in any capacity.
Nationalist chauvinism will not be tolerated.
The language of this forum is English and English only, if any other language is used without a translation, it will be deleted.

*Your tone and the content of your post must not be insulting to or mocking of fellow forum members, a nationality or an ethnic background.

If you feel that a member has broken these rules please report the offending post and it will be investigated.

Forum members who break the above rules will receive a warning; repeat offenders will be banned.
