if you did please tell me if its worth getting... i was wondering if its more about his life in general or focusing on his battles.

Never heard of it.

About Subotai... I see nothing valiant about slaughtering hundreds of thousands because your people do not like cities and your king has decreed that the best pleasure in life is killing those who would just rather be left alone and watching their women cry over their bodies as you rape them. Subotai, and Ghengis Khan, were certinly great, but not valiant.

Looks like one Richard A. Gabriel is getting an angry letter.

I havent read that particular book but I have read one one Subotais campains into Europe and the tactics alone (hes my favoite general easily the world over) is worth any read about his military career.
