Is Ergenekon a real valley in the Altay Mountains or is it just a mythical place that exist only in our Turk myths of origin?

Among mongols there is also a legend Ergune-Kun. But Ergune is not a valley near Altai Mountain but a river in south eastern Sibiria.

Yea I know they have an Ergenekon legend too, I never knew it is a river for them. Does this river really exist?
