Selam Feramez bro, Nasilsin? = Yaxshimu sen? "Steppe" can be translated into "otlaq", "yaylaq" in Uyghur. Following is an online English-Uyghur dictionary, which may help. http://www.uyghurdictionary.org/

Hi there. Hope you're doing fine. Well, don't add Turkmen to that list!!! In all Turkic dialect, you'll find the same basic words. But this does not mean you understand Turkmen. Maybe you can, but you've got to show me. Translate the very simple line below: 'senke dutirmayjaq ersem, ongoraqay; yone beytmayjaq bolyan.' Take good care and just take it easy. It doesn't take too much effort from either side to understand the spoken form of each language. I was just speaking to one of my Uygur friends today, he was speaking in Uygur and me in Turkish. The more we speak it to eachother the more words we find are the same in both languages. |

Which is currently very popular among Uyghur intellectuals in E.T. and abroad and closer to the ones that are currently being used in the Central Asian countries. I think you used the one in the www.uighurlanguage.com website. This version is heavily influenced by Chinese Pinyin system. |

| Thank you, I've been practicing a bit. The only difference, I think, is the "q" and "x". I thought those were part of the Uygur Latin alphabet, q=ch and x=sh. Where in America do you live? I live in America and have been looking for some Uygur people to talk to, I only know of a lot in California and in Virginia. |
