I use WordPress for my http://essayservices.org/ - website and I've found a plugin which hides my back-links from back-link crawlers such as majestic seo and Open site explorer. However, I found a lot of information about this in black hat seo websites. Now my question is that; is it good to have something like this one to be enabled on my site? Could it harm or improve my seo results?

I don't know Wordpress, but if it's like our host, that's a question they can answer and help you with.
