Hello,

I just joined the site. I live in the US in the Midwest, currently in Michigan. I have an interest in history, particularly the history of technology. I haven't read lot of history so far, just what I picked up here and there, and my knowledge of East and South Asian history is still rather weak, although I am learning a little, especially when it comes to the history of technology.

(I appologize, I screwed up my previous attempts at creating an id as "Lay Historian", so I tried again as just Historian, forgot my password, and apparently didn't save an email address - I re alize that was a mistake now.)
