In The Book of Baruch, Chapter 4 Verse 28 states:
As your hearts have been disposed to stray from God, turn now ten times the more to seek him;

What is the significance of ten times the more?

'ten time the more' is indicative of the desire and motivation; and or intensity of seeking..redemption and forgiveness for the trespass/sin..in this case apostasy.

Iow. to give ten times more in 'effort'....is an indicator of 'sincerity'.

An indicator of great value in effort.
