Besides this silly site http://www.history.com/shows/america-unearthed/videos/america-unearthed-ark-of-the-covenant-rev

There does exist a strange dis-location of these stones supposedly kept by the Jews for a number of years.

But, the Fomenko Group, and I agree, these stones still exist in Mecca/Makka, etc.

They were supposedly kept in Jerusalem by some scholars.

So! There it is, the answer to all of your questions.

I mean, just how did Al Quds get to be famous anyway?

Does no one have the "stones", or can I say Cohones?, to reply?

I'm sure I saw a documentary a few years back about a story that the ark of the covenant making its way to Ethiopia, where it is kept at a special location, where it is said that anyone unworthy seeing it will be dealt a great deal of misfortune, or death. It would seem to be watch over by a holy man.

What a handsome figure of a dragon. No wonder I fall madly in love with the Alani Dragon now, the avatar, it's a gorgeous dragon picture.

Yes, TADR, I have seen the same, but it seems that if any well financed group wanted to test the place, that it would be an easy as pie rescue mission? LOL There is but one guardian!

There is only one who can go into the building where it's kept.  There are always others outside, some with AK47's.

It's interesting, Hancock was able to interview the "guardian".  It seems the life expectancy of the guardian, once he is appointed, is very short.  They seem to succumb to strange and painful illnesses.  The man he interviewed was almost blind from a strange change in his eyes.  He said it was from the Ark.

Perhaps it's this knowledge that keeps the Ark safe.  No one has the nerve to actually see what this object really is.

Actually, I believe no one actually takes this seriously! Anyone with a lot of money, could hire a team to go there and find out! I.e. a team of five special operations retirees, and a couple of copters and some bribe money would complete the operation forthwith!

But, I am afraid they would find "nothing" worthwhile!

If it was "worthwhile" someone would have already taken it! A piece of cake, as it was!

One must also remember that the Bible reports that Moses cast down the original which were broken into pieces. Moses must have gone back to have a duplicate made?

Thus we might well not know the "Laws." But this could lead to "TWO" sets of Holy Objects, the original in pieces and the duplicate. So perhaps both survived?

Also remember that the Philistines captured the "Ark of the C0venent" until they happily returned it to the Israelites.

There seems to be no Biblical mention of the fate of the "Ark" in later times, unless you think of the visual remains of the Ark of Noah, which seems to be seen on the mountain every ten to twenty years. LOL

Regards, and Happy New Year!~
