You can thank the Spamidiots from the PRC for making it nessesary to close reg. I got tired of spending an hour nearly everyday, deleting spam and bouncing spammers.

Have you tried enabling CAPTCHA images, webwiz forums can do this apparently. Alternatively a simple maths question such as 3 times 4 plus 7 is said to be 100% effective at stopping spam bots registering.
