 Normally, the typical "bottle house" would be a small single-story building like the one in Rhyolite, but this guy has built his own palace out of 500000 beer bottles. Thats excellent! my first thought was the bright Nevada sun twinkling off the glass fragments, but on reading the article the glass seems to be ground "back" into sand. Makes sense to do this more. non the less very nice stone. I like the gym.... Azita |

If the bottles were ground into sand and made into concrete, then this isn't a "bottle house" - it's just a house built of recycled materials. THIS is a bottle house.  ------------- Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? |

It's from Rhyolite, but given the flowers in the window, a guy sitting outside and a pickup truck and mobile home visible in the background I wouldn't call it a ghost town.

Highly unlikely. These houses will only fall down if they were held together with mud rather than concrete
