This thread is dedicated to the types of cars that make the riced-up boy-racers crap their pants in terror. Above is the 1925 Rolls Royce Phantom, with a single tailfin and fastback design 40 years ahead of its time

This 1957 Dodge Custom Royal looked like an hungry monster.

A coating of surface rust and dirt can make any car look scary. This panel van, the star of a well-known horror film, started life as a 1941 Chevy farm truck

If Dracula had an automobile, this is what he'd drive. Besides having an unconventional appearance, the Cord 810 is fast, luxurious and ultra-rare (even modern replicas have a high price-tag)

Which "Jeepers Creepers" film was this from? 2001? 2003? Both?

Here's something even creepier: the Tatra 603 favored by Czechoslovakian Communist Party members and KGB agents

I've never liked the slanted headlights of the later Buicks, but that Plymouth looks like a cool rideCool

Now this is a mean-looking Buick. The boat-tail Riviera wasn't a bad looking car either

I think it's from the first movie. The original truck is currently undergoing restoration:

Excuse my little indulgence here, but how 'evil' cool does this bike look?

As i've said before, the Nazis were cruel bastards but they had the coolest stuff in the last war. I may be wrong, but i'm sure this type of bike was used in the motorcycle chase in Indiana Jones 3

I love a challenge. I've poked around a bit and my early findings are leading to:

They were Honda XL 500 S models that were altered for the movie to look like

BMW R75 in the chase.

The one Indy & his dad were riding in was a Dnepr MT-11 (Russian) and made

to look German.

Preliminary findings, I could be off a bit.

This is Hitler's Mercedes 770. It had six wheels for off-road travel and was in production from 1930 until 1943

Mussolini owned a Fiat 2800 similar to this one. Its front end is similar to the Fords of the 1940s

The GAZ-12 ZIM was an imposing-looking car, like a Morris Oxford on steroids, though personally i prefer the Chaika, Pobeda or ZIL-111

The Oldsmobile Toronado was the sister of the Cadillac above. What did the auto industry replace it with? A succession of slab-sided pimpmobiles

That Fiat reminds me of my uncle's Humber. It's a real shame he traded it in for a new Land Rover back in the early 90s

Quite a few of the older Plymouths had an aggressive, sneering appearance. Take this Fury, for example

Maybe when the factory paintjob gets too faded i'll give my Chrysler a respray like this Holden from The Cars That Ate Paris (partly to terrify other drivers and partly to annoy my parents). I've seen shark teeth on a few customised Studebakers

Actually, it was built on a six-wheeled chassis to carry the weight of the armored body and allow sufficient room for the bigshots in the rear.
