Mayhem meets crime fighting with hilarious consequences. 5 out of 5 from me. Just seeing this film reminded me I always laugh my face off when I see it(not literally for those unfamiliar with the expression. I almost did, but Craig as the Steely Eyed Man of Action and Ford as the Grumpy Old Man are just a little too stereotyped. The alien machines were interesting, though, and I enjoyed it for a laugh. I would have liked it better, though, if it turned out justo nce that the old Colt .44 Peacemaker was more than a match for fancy alien metal work. ------------- Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? |

Dredd isn't technically a remake.....it is simply something done properly. Having seen both Dredd and Priest, I can tell you MM, that Dredd is the far superior film. Give it a try when it comes to cable, it was a good action flick, with none of that Stallone-camp. ------------- |

Of course. Everything has been done by someone sometime before. Doesn't change the quality of the film. Apache women did not have to kill to survive - the sad truth is that Apaches tortured and killed because they enjoyed it. A little old but I just saw it last night, great fun. 6 guys all in the Doghouse with their women go out of town on a planned lads bing of sex and drink. They wind up in a village where a virus has turned all women into psychotic zombies and they have eaten all the men. Can the most un-PC gang of zombie hunters ever survive this plague of cannibal feminists? Can they even agree which of the female zombies would be the best shag?

i watched the film "the Sweeney" last night. With Nick Brody/Dick Winters (Damien Lewis) and the wonderful Ray ( daddy) Winstone. Quite a good gritty film, with Lewis of course using his real voice for a change. Toltec, I thought Doghouse was great! |
