This is a broad topic because most people probably haven't played every FPS but from the ones you played like (COD, Halo, or Half-life) which gun from all these games do you think was the most awesome. My choice is the Lancer rifle from Gears of War.

If Max Payne is counted as FPS, then it is Jackhammer shotgun for me.
If not, then Sturmgewehr 44. from COD or any other WWII shooter. |

OICW from Deltaforce Landwarrior was pretty good for the game, if not the Helghan assault rifle from Killzone.

Maybe the BFG9000 from the Doom games? I have yet to see another FPS weapon clear out a room that efficiently.

The Gravity Gun is certainly pretty awesome, like Sun Tzu said. I've always loved the Counter Strike Scout sniper though

The p90 in COD4 or maybe the FG42 in COD5. But I still enjoy using the PTRS or SVT 44.
