Happy Bayram! Been a long one this year and the fasting will only get longer with a turn towards summer for next year. In a day's time the feasting will commence. Smile

Happy Eid evryone, hope it is joyful and pleasant.

For Seko:
Every year Ramadan moves back ten days.

So if you happen to fast in June,July (hot, long days), then to get experience Ramadan in the winter( Dec/Jan, short cool days), you will have to wait for the following period:

six months shift means 30(avg) * 6 days= 180 days therefore 180/10= 18 yrs.

So master Seko if u are now 26 yrs old then you will have a winter Ramadan at the age of  26+18= 44 and the summer again at 44+18= 62.

i wonder if in other muslims countries do practice giving money to children? Means when visiting to others' home or vice versa during eid.

The tradition continues Cahaya. In Turkey, for example, money is given to the little ones even though the holiday is called Sugar Festival where the elders traditionally exchange sweets.
