96 924 viewers at the Wembley Stadium are watching the final of the World Cup 1966.
Germany meets England, both teams were leaded bythe greatest players of that period. Bobby Moore and Bobby Charlton in the red jerseys, Beckenbauer and Overath in white ones.
The regular time has gone, both teams scored two goals.

A: England won 4-2 not 3-2 so it doesn't really matter. (Unlike the 1986 quarter-final when the 'Hand of God' gave Argentina a 2-1 win.)
B: Germany's second goal was a handball, so it shouldn't have gone to extra time anyway. England 2 Germany 1 would have done nicely. ------------- |

AS England mangaer Harold said after losing the 1066 world cup final to the French.
