Goethe, Johann Wolfgang von, today 175 years ago needed more light.

His last words : "More light", although he was a non-smoker, are disputed till today. Not disputable is his Goethe's meaning for the German literature.

Might be, that generations of German pupils damned his works, manifold like Goethe was himself.

Many phrases and quotes of his dramas and poems passed over into the everyday life usage.

Goethe , a traveller, a statesman, a lover of the nature and the nature of women, no one affected the German character like he did.

At March 22nd 1832 a life of a man ended, who should be named as THE person, who reflected the Germans contribution to the world culture.

"He who does not do anything for others, does not do anything for himself."
