Are they expensive for the people of the USA and the EU? How many history books do they buy per month (I mean fans, not just ordinary people)?

Fans I mean real fans don't buy them or very rarely. Maybe once or twice a month at most. Actually history books I need are in the library. Thus I do enjoy buying once in a while an history book about something I'm totally unfamiliar with (Aztecs for instance) or a book about some other field (sociology, psychology, evolution, philosophy, geography...).
Yet dovaritch no shame in spending your money on a few classics.
