Hello!  I could really use some help researching Oliver Cromwell's landing in Drogheda, Ireland, August 15th, 1649, the laws he imposed during his stay, and everything that led up to the Drogheda Incident on September 11, 1649.  So far, my search has been frustrating.  Any information will be appreciated.  Thanks!

you could check this post out, it doesn't give much about Ireland, but it gives and overview of the general events twists and turns that lead Cromwell to be in Ireland.
