My name is Josh, and I'm a 17 year old student living in Knoxville, TN.  My predominant interest is history, more specifically, Rome during the Republic, Classical Greece, and the Napoleonic Wars.  Others interests include literature, philosophy, and running.

I had a series of user names on old AE(from oldest to most recent):  Jean Lannes, Book of Faith,  and Praefectus Castrorum.

Ahoy to all. My name is Anna and I happened upon this site while doing a google search. I am an avid gamer with a more than slight obsession with pirates (not the real ones, just the hook-for-hand and eyepatch ones). I am an English Lit major and I (although my university doesn't offer any courses in it) specialise in Russian literature of the 18th and 19th century. My favorite historical period/place would have to be Ancient Egypt, though I am fascinated by most ancient civilizations.

Anyways, I am glad to join your lovely community. I was very happy to find a board devoted to history and I hope I can fit right in

I'm Daniel Myers, and new to these boards.

I'm 19, and am a Civil Engineering student at the University of Oklahoma.

I was entirely homeschooled, and have studied history intensively.  I specialize in American history to the Civil War, and pre-Alexandrian ancient and Biblical history.

Politics: complex.  Right wing mostly, isolationist, if you want to catagorize me.

I'm active in the Europa Universalis modification area, making historical scenarios for it.

From Norman, Oklahoma, US.  I've always lived here.  There.  Whatever.

Well, I'm biased--  I think it is the best way to go by a long shot.  Totally different perspective, of course; a lot of religious history, not politically correct in any way.  And I'm not that much a Civil War enthusiast, but provided the coding know how and Southern constitutional perspective.

I'm new. I stumbled into this website while googling up 'mongolian armour' as I was doing a history project over the summer 'bout history's greatest asskickers, the Mongols.

Origin of my name: Something I picked up long long ago. (about 7 long years, maybe)

TM stands for "The Mighty..."

Occupation: Student. Art student in a year.

Nationality: Citizen of the World, residing in the USA.

Ethnicity: Bloodline traced to northern China, though my grandparents lived in the south. As far as I know, 100% Han Chinese.

Religion: Buddhist.

Hobbies: Doodling. Doodling armor. Doodling weapons. Doodling men (or women, or lizardmen, or crabs) with armor and weapons. Taking down 'The Man'. Putting it to 'The Man'. Getting Angry. Keeping up a balanced diet every day.

Currently: You know, the red ones with his face in black on them. Pondering the intricacies of mountain pattern scale.Trying to make a Ghengis Khan version of the famous Che Guevera shirts.

When I look in the mirror, I see: Rising doodle star, smouldering justice hero of Asian Justice heroics.

I also posted another post before seeing this post, making the other one quite useless now. nuts.

I'm Turan, for those who dont know me from the old AE.  From Canada, live in the US, with a 50% Turkish heritage.  Canadian citizen.  Like soccer (football), I played lacrosse for a bit, dunno if i will continue.  History is interesting depending on what kind of history. American history bores me more than anything.  Im more into current stuff more than history though.
