This is a folk ballade about one of favorite folk heroes "Krali Marko" - a South Slavic folk hero who was fighting in this song with a Turkish person called "Musa Kesedjia"; I think this is a Serbian song, but there are Bulgaria and Macedonian ones too. This ballade is in the tradition of the folk bards - who were popular in medieval time, complete with the musical insrtument - in Bulgaria it;s called "gusla", and is played with a horse-hair bow on metal strings.
