It's been a year since AE got back up and running. Happy bday AE!

So what does the old fourmers in AE think of the last year and the new AE. Has it gotten better? Worse? Do you want to reminisce about the good old days?

I have only been around since January, so I don't remember "the good old days."  However, I think we all need to work on our manners and decorum.

There continues to be a lot of discourteous and ungentlemanly behavior, and not enough considered discourse on so many things that are interesting.

The current fascination with genetic makeup and its place in racial differentiation is somewhat alarming.  All the moderators should watch closely as this subject develops.  We have had enough Nazis for a few hundred thousand years.

I love this place, as it was for a while the sole reason i kept nagging on my brother for access to the computer. There just wasn't any page i would rather be. And there really isn't that much to be remembered about the "good ol' days" of AE because the "good ol' days" have never left AE, am i rgiht or what? I think i have been around enough to see that the wise have only gotten wiser and the civil discussions have not decreased and that the gentlemen-like behavior still exists.

I would speak some more fine words about the page, but it is half past two in the morning. Long live AE!!!

There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible than a man in the depths of an ether binge...

Seeing that archived page brings back memories....of how weird my username was.

I agree with pikeshot, the recent fuss over genetics really brings the forum's quality down a notch, but I think AE is still as good a place as any to discuss history.

"Book of Faith" isn't very weird compared to "KhaKhan"

I actually can't remember what it was supposed to mean...

Suffice to say it wasn't referring to the Bible or Quran.

AE is still alive, same strengths same weaknesses.  Only the site istelf has changed not what its about.

And anyway, this is the only forum I ever post at anymore.  In fact its th eonly forum I ever made more than 100 posts in ever, that says something.

wow,KhaKhan thanx for that nostalgic link!!

I was in vacation.I opened two pages.I typed "http:/mojtaba proboards7.com" to the first one and "http://thfa.proboards15.com" to the second one.

The I saw the proboards' bastard page.I had known that page,I had opened a fully-Turkish board on proborads before.

I sent an SMS to Kuthlugh Khaghan. He told the events.

Some days later,I remembered the real name of the forum "All Empires" and I typed www.allempires.com to adress bar.Bingo! There was a "forum" link there. But still,I hadn't thought that a new forum had been opened. However I clicked on the link.

Then I became the 87th member of the new AE.

Happy Birthday!

I need to say that the new site is much better than the old one

It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up.
